Description: | Photograph of Trp. Leo Belanger (L-39111). Leo enlisted June 16, 1941 and was discharged February 11, 1945. He was a trooper in the 16th/22nd Saskatchewan Horse and the Fort Garry Horse, he served in Europe, and was wounded two times. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, the War Medal (1939-45) and the Normandy Medal.
